Apprise Mobile Terms of Service
Last updated: August 29, 2026
These Terms apply to Apprise Mobile, published as Apprise on Google Play (“the app”). By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. What the App Does
Section titled “1. What the App Does”The app is a companion for Apprise API Servers that you or a third party operate. It stores app data on your device and sends requests directly to the servers you configure so you can manage them and send notifications.
Apprise API is separate, open-source server software. We do not operate your server, receive its traffic, or control the notification services it contacts.
2. Your Responsibilities
Section titled “2. Your Responsibilities”You are responsible for:
- Having permission to connect to and use each configured server and service.
- Operating, maintaining, and securing servers under your control.
- Protecting your device, backups, credentials, configuration IDs, and notification URLs, and replacing or revoking them if exposure is suspected.
- The content, targets, configuration, and results of requests you make.
- Following applicable laws and each connected service’s terms and policies.
Do not use the app to send spam, harass others, distribute illegal or harmful content, gain unauthorized access, or disrupt any server, account, or service.
3. Self-Hosted and Third-Party Services
Section titled “3. Self-Hosted and Third-Party Services”The app depends on your device, configured Apprise API Servers, networks, and notification services. Their availability, security, data handling, and delivery results are outside the app’s control and may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.
4. Premium Purchase
Section titled “4. Premium Purchase”Premium is an optional, one-time Google Play purchase that unlocks support for multiple servers and configurations. Google Play processes the transaction and associates the purchase with your Google Play account so eligible access can be restored.
Purchase and refund requests are handled under Google Play policies and applicable law. Google or the developer may process a refund when permitted.
5. No Warranty
Section titled “5. No Warranty”The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, server availability, or successful notification delivery.
6. Limitation of Liability
Section titled “6. Limitation of Liability”To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the app. This includes failed or delayed notifications, unavailable services, data loss, unauthorized messages, or use of connected accounts resulting from an exposed device, backup, credential, configuration ID, or notification URL.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable consumer rights.
7. Changes to These Terms
Section titled “7. Changes to These Terms”We may update these Terms as the app changes. When renewed acceptance is required, the app will ask you to review and accept the current Terms before continuing.
8. Contact
Section titled “8. Contact”Questions about these Terms can be sent to lead2gold@gmail.com.
